EXSC-323 Sport & Exercise Psychology

This course is an overview of the major psychological theories utilized in current sport psychology. Psychological strategies and skills to optimize sport performance are discussed, along with the relationship between participation in sport, exercise, and physical activity and psychological development, health, and well-being. Topics explored include motivation, concentration, attention, adherence, personality, and goal-setting. Prerequisite: PSYC 101
