LS-201 Academic Tutor Training
This course has been designed to provide training for individuals who will work as peer tutors on campus and online. It focuses on tutoring principles found universal to effective tutoring across different diciplines and settings. Because these principles are flexible, each tutor will be applying them in practice to his or her own major, exploring and adapting strategies as they suit specific tutoring situations. At the completion of the course, tutors will have basic knowledge of tutoring skils and techniques needed to work with students in our diverse campus environment.
