Honors Program Curriculum

Scholars completing all Honors Program requirements (30 credits, 90 service hours, meetings, events) will be awarded the Distinguished Honors Scholar certificate. Scholars must complete their degree with a minimum overall GPA of 3.2 and complete the required honors courses.

Year 1 (Second semester) Theme 1: Respect for Humanity

Mentorship Seminar (3 credits)

Year 2 Theme II: Compassion

Civic Engagement/Peer Tutoring Seminar (3 credits)
20 Services hours

Year 3 Theme III: Transformation

Servant Leadership: 10 Characteristic of Franciscan Servant Leadership Seminar (3 credits)
Research & Portfolio Part 1 (3 credits)
25 Service hours

Year 4 Theme IV: Solidarity with People in Need

Community Service: Local & Global Seminar (3 credits)
Final Research and Portfolio Presentation Symposium 3 (3 credits)
