Change of Major

Matriculated students who wish to change their degree programs must complete the Change of Major Form, available through Assuresign, with their academic advisor. The form is routed from the advisor and student to the School Dean or Associate Dean for approval.

Once the form contains all required signatures, it continues to the Office of Registration and Records for processing.

The Registration and Records representative completes the Change of Major by updating the student record, and the student receives a copy of the signed form.

This procedure is followed only if the student has already been accepted into a degree program through the Office of Admission. Non-matriculated students seeking admission into a degree program must apply formally through the Office of Admission.
