EDU-683AR Clin. Prac. I Year I Alt Rt

This seminar is designed to support new practitioners as they continue their journey as professional educators in an early childhood classroom as Teacher of Record. Candidates will work on targeted classroom management strategies, lesson planning, curriculum mapping and standards as it relates to the instructional planning, modality of instruction, assessment design and promoting a successful and inclusive learning early childhood environment during the first year in the Provisional Teacher Program. Seminar will address the challenges of standardized testing and navigating end of year procedures. Candidates will be supervised in the classroom where they are employed by a University assigned supervisor one (1) time to assess the candidates' skills, knowledge and professional dispositions.
