Transfer Credit
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) / Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) / Post-Master’s Certificate
Up to a maximum of nine (9) graduate credits may be transferred from an academic program accredited by a recognized national accrediting agency.
Transfer credits must:
- Be completed with a grade of B (83%) or higher, and
- Be approved by Graduate Nursing Administration following admission to the program
The Associate Dean of Graduate Nursing will evaluate course equivalency and determine transfer eligibility on an individual basis.
Clinical courses considered for transfer must include equivalent clinical content and supervised clinical hours.
Advanced Pharmacology must be completed within five (5) years of applying for Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) licensure. Coursework exceeding this timeframe will not meet State Board of Nursing requirements for licensure eligibility.
