MGT-498 Integr Exps & Issues in Sports
This course examines current issues that are of concern to sports administrators. Students will gain a basic understanding of these issues and develop appropriate strategies for effectively addressing them. Students will be encouraged to take advocacy positions on issues covered. Students will be called up in class to identify solutions to current issues and to make ethical decisions. The topics covered will include basic ethics, legal and risk management, diversity issues in sports management, and technological advances in the sports industry. Course topics may change due to changes in the sports management industry.
