Articulated Programs

Students are able to enroll in the following articulated (pre-professional) programs:

 

Doctor of Chiropractic

Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) Articulation Agreement between Northeast College of Health Sciences and Felician University:

Purpose

A partnership to help students at Felician University seamlessly transition into Northeast’s Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree program, saving time compared to completing both degrees independently.

Program Options

Two articulated degree pathways are offered: a 3+3 program and a 4+3 program, both allowing students to complete an undergraduate degree at Felician and a DC degree at Northeast.

Student Requirements

Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (minimum “C” in specified courses), apply to Northeast one year before their desired entrance date, and submit a Letter of Intent to Northeast Admissions within their first year (3+3) or first two years (4+3) at Felician.

Scholarships

Students transferring with a 3.0–3.499 GPA receive a $2,000 Northeast merit scholarship; those with a 3.5+ GPA receive $3,000. Both are non-renewable and split across the first two Northeast trimesters.

 

Doctor of Dental Medicine

Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) Affiliation Agreement between LECOM School of Dental Medicine and Felician University:

Purpose

An Early Acceptance Program (EAP) that allows Felician University undergraduate students to gain provisional acceptance into LECOM's Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) program, ultimately matriculating at the LECOM Bradenton, FL campus.

Eligibility & Enrollment

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents who have not yet earned a four-year degree. LECOM conducts all enrollment interviews (in-person or video; phone interviews are not accepted), and up to 5 Felician students per academic year may be accepted into the program.

Degrees Awarded

Felician awards a baccalaureate degree upon completion of undergraduate requirements; LECOM awards the D.M.D. upon successful completion of its curriculum.

 

Dental Medicine - Early Assurance Admission Program Agreement with Rutgers University  

This MOU establishes an Early Assurance Admission Program giving exceptional Felician University students a provisional pathway into Rutgers' Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) program before completing their undergraduate degree.

How It Works

  • Students in their 4th semester at Felician may apply for provisional early acceptance into RSDM's D.M.D. program
  • Acceptance becomes final upon completing their bachelor's degree at Felician and meeting all program standards

Eligibility Requirements

  • Minimum 3.50 cumulative science GPA
  • Completion of first-year English plus at least 8 of the required science courses (Calculus, Biology, Physics, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry)
  • Submission of a personal statement, transcripts, and 3 letters of recommendation

To Maintain Standing & Gain Formal Acceptance

  • Complete the Felician bachelor's degree
  • Achieve minimum DAT scores (Academic Average: 420; Total Science: 430)
  • Submit AADSAS application by December 1st of the year prior to enrollment
  • Pass background checks and meet health/immunization requirements

Admission

  • Felician's Health Professions Advisory Team (HPAT) screens and recommends candidates
  • RSDM's Admissions Committee retains final authority on all admissions decisions

 

Medical Degree

Medical Degree (M.D.) Memorandum of Understanding between Felician University and Saint George's University (SGU)

Purpose

A 4+4 pathway allowing Felician University students to complete a four-year premedical or pre-veterinary track while enrolled in an undergraduate degree at Felician, then proceed directly into SGU's School of Medicine (MD) in Grenada, West Indies, earning a BS/MD degree.

Program Structure

Medical students spend their first two years in Grenada (or year one at Northumbria University in the UK and year two in Grenada), with their final two years in clinical rotations at SGU-affiliated hospitals in the US and/or UK.

Admissions Requirements

For Medicine, students need a cumulative GPA of 3.4 and a science GPA of 3.2, plus a competitive MCAT score within 5 points of the entering class average (~498). This program requires an IELTS score of 7.0 or equivalent (typically waived for students from North American or English-instruction universities). SGU application fees are waived for Felician applicants, who also receive fast-track processing.

Scholarships

MD program students are eligible for SGU scholarships, including the Chancellor's Circle Legacy of Excellence scholarship valued at $120,000, disbursed evenly over the MD program term.

 

Medical Degree (M.D.) Affiliation Agreement between Felician University and Xavier University School of Medicine (XUSOM)

Purpose

A partnership allowing Felician University students who complete the pre-medicine courses to enroll in XUSOM's four-year MD program in Aruba, creating a streamlined pathway from undergraduate study to medical school.

Program Structure

Felician students who complete the pre-medicine course requirements and who meet agreed-upon academic standards are offered acceptance into XUSOM's MD program. Each institution collects its own tuition and fees for the period the student is enrolled with them.

Scholarship

All Felician students attending XUSOM receive a Dean's Scholarship totaling $36,000, disbursed at $3,000 per semester over 12 semesters. Students must meet XUSOM's ongoing academic criteria to maintain the scholarship.

 

Osteopathic Medicine

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) Affiliation Agreement between LECOM Medical College and Felician University for the Early Acceptance

Purpose

A 4+4 Early Acceptance Program (EAP) allowing Felician University undergraduate students to gain provisional acceptance into LECOM's Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) program, matriculating at the LECOM campus of their choice, subject to space availability.

Program Structure

The EAP has two phases. Phase I covers the undergraduate years at Felician University (requiring at least 60 credit hours taken at Felician as a full-time student), and Phase II is the medical school education at LECOM and its associated clinical training sites.

Eligibility & Enrollment

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents who have not yet earned a four-year degree. LECOM conducts all interviews (in-person or video; phone interviews are not accepted). Up to 5 Felician students per academic year may be accepted into Phase II.

Degrees Awarded

Felician awards a baccalaureate degree upon completion of undergraduate requirements. LECOM awards the D.O. upon successful completion of the medical curriculum, including passing COMLEX-1 and COMLEX-2 CE of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.

 

Podiatric Medicine

Podiatric Medicine (DPM) LECOM–Felician Early Acceptance Program Agreement

Purpose

Affiliation agreement between Felician University and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) to offer an Early Acceptance Program (EAP) for the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree.

  • Establishes a pathway for Felician students to gain early/provisional acceptance into LECOM’s podiatric medical program.
  • Students can secure a spot before completing their undergraduate degree, provided they meet all requirements. Students may be interviewed before or during their first 3 years at Felician.

Admission & Requirements

  • LECOM conducts interviews and grants provisional acceptance.
  • Students must:
    • Maintain required academic performance (GPA and science GPA)
    • Follow program guidelines and professional standards
    • Submit letters of recommendation
  • Felician provides advising and monitors student progress.

Degrees Awarded

  • Felician University: Awards the undergraduate (bachelor’s) degree.
  • LECOM: Awards the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree after completion of medical training

Doctor of Pharmacy

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Articulation Agreement between Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) and Felician University

Overview

This articulation agreement offers a dual-degree pathway (“Dual Agree Program”) between Felician University and FDU’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, allowing up to five qualified Felician students per year to earn credits toward FDU’s Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.

How the Program Works

Felician students enrolled in either the BS in Biology or BS in Natural Sciences & Mathematics complete their first three years at Felician, then enroll concurrently at FDU’s College of Pharmacy for their “bridge year.” This final year simultaneously fulfills the first year of the Pharm.D. program and completes the remaining credits for their Felician undergraduate degree. Upon finishing the four-year pharmacy program at FDU, students are awarded the Pharm.D.

Student Eligibility Requirements

Students must be enrolled in Felician’s BS Biology or BS Natural Sciences & Mathematics program, have a 3.0 or higher GPA, complete all prerequisite courses with a B or better, submit a full application to FDU at least one year before anticipated matriculation, and complete an admissions interview with FDU’s College of Pharmacy.

 

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Felician University – Touro College of Pharmacy Linkage Agreement

Overview

This partnership agreement between Touro College of Pharmacy (TCOP) and Felician University offers an accelerated Admission Pathway for Felician students to pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at TCOP.

How the Pathway Works

Felician recruits eligible students into the TCOP/LAS track. To be considered, students need a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and science GPA of 2.75, completed prerequisite coursework, three letters of recommendation, a personal interview with TCOP, and a completed PharmCAS application. Admission is not guaranteed — TCOP retains full discretion.

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) LECOM School of Pharmacy Early Acceptance Program (EAP) Affiliation Agreement with Felician University

Overview

This affiliation agreement between Felician University (Rutherford, NJ) and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), establishing an Early Acceptance Program that gives Felician undergraduates a pathway to LECOM’s Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) degree.

Program Tracks The EAP offers three pathways: the 4+ track (4 years at Felician + 3–4 years at LECOM, recommended for most students), the 3+ track (3 years at Felician + pharmacy school, for highly motivated students), and the 2+ track (2 years at Felician + pharmacy school, for exceptional students only).

Enrollment & Capacity

A maximum of 5 students per year advance from Felician to LECOM’s Phase II, though up to 10 may be enrolled in Phase I to account for attrition. Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency, full-time enrollment at Felician, and meeting LECOM’s minimum admissions criteria.

 

Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Memorandum of Understanding between Felician University and Saint George's University (SGU)

 
Purpose
A 4+4 pathway allowing Felician University students to complete a four-year pre-veterinary track while enrolled in an undergraduate degree at Felician, then proceed directly into SGU's School of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in Grenada, West Indies, earning a BS/DVM degree.

Veterinary students complete three years in Grenada and their final clinical year at SGU-affiliated schools across the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, or the Netherlands.

For Veterinary Medicine, students need a science GPA of at least 3.3 with no science grade below a "C," plus a minimum of 500 hours of animal experience. This program requires an IELTS score of 7.0 or equivalent (typically waived for students from North American or English-instruction universities). SGU application fees are waived for Felician applicants, who also receive fast-track processing.
