NURS-215 Nursing Theory Role Devel
This course will explore the history of nursing. Theories of role development, professional behaviors and clinical judgment will be examined. Students will be introduced to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Essentials, New Jersey Board of Nursing regulations, Healthy People 2010/2020 Objectives Quality and Safety Education in Nursing and Patient Safety. The roles of designer of care, provider of care, manager of care, and member of the profession will be explored within the larger health care system. Prerequisite for nursing sequence
