Rules and guidelines for majors in Mathematics:

  1. A student who wishes to continue as a mathematics major needs a minimum grade of C+ in Precalculus (MATH-161).
  2. It is recommended that no student may take more than two mathematics courses in a single semester.
  3. Mathematics majors are cautioned that some of the required courses are linked by prerequisites into a sequence. The courses are offered as needed (not every semester). Failing to follow the sequence can delay graduation.
