EDU-748 Clinical Internship & Seminar

This clinical experience is designed to provide the clinical intern with an assigned cooperating teacher. Candidates are required to be actively engaged in the planning, instruction, and assessment of their assigned learning environment. Formal assessments will be conducted to assess the candidate's skills, knowledge, and professional dispositions. All candidates in Clinical Internship are required to spend five full days a week in the field (a minimum of 525 hours) and be observed formally by a university supervisor. Candidates participate in a weekly seminar to support them in their fieldwork and development as a future educator.
