NURS-664 Curriculum Design and Development
This course explores the principles and processes of curriculum design and development in nursing education, emphasizing alignment with national nursing accreditation standards and instructional design best practices. Students will examine contemporary trends in nursing education and develop program and course content that supports meaningful learning in diverse academic and clinical environments. Emphasis is placed on creating a learner-centered curriculum design that reflects institutional mission and vision while addressing the needs of key stakeholders in nursing education and practice.
