CRIM-240 Community Supervision

This course will examine the possible use and expansion of community supervision and alternatives to incarceration techniques in order to alleviate jail/prison overcrowding. It will examine the history, background, logic, and criticisms which have been leveled at the use of community correctional alternatives from both a pre-and post-trial perspective. (spring 2008)
