The Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness program is designed to prepare students for careers in promoting health and well-being within individuals and communities. This interdisciplinary program integrates principles from public health, psychology, nutrition, exercise science, and communication to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address health challenges and promote healthy behaviors.

Throughout the program, students will develop a deep understanding of the determinants of health, including social, environmental, and behavioral factors. They will learn how to assess community health needs, develop effective health promotion strategies, and implement programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Key components of the curriculum include courses in health education and communication, epidemiology, nutrition science, exercise physiology, and health behavior theory. Students will also gain hands-on experience through internships and research projects, allowing them to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be prepared for a variety of career paths in health promotion, wellness coaching, community health education, corporate wellness programs, public health agencies, and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, graduates may choose to pursue advanced degrees in public health, health education, or related fields.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness program provides students with a comprehensive foundation in health promotion theory and practice, preparing them to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
