OT-507 Group Process
This course provides a theoretical foundation of group process across practice settings. It explores theory perspectives including multiple group models, group leadership concepts, group process, therapeutic use of self, and contexts/environments. Students will learn to articulate core principles of group process and identify the role of occupational therapy practitioners in using groups as an intervention method and/or service delivery model. Students will learn to understand the impact of injustice in areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion in group settings.

Successful completion of 1st semester of OT program
