This culminating senior seminar prepares students for entry into the professional field of health promotion and wellness by integrating academic knowledge with real-world application. Through interactive modules, project-based assignments, and professional development activities, students will demonstrate their ability to assess needs, design and evaluate programs, communicate effectively, and advocate for public health. Emphasis is placed on synthesizing interdisciplinary knowledge, applying CHES competencies, and building a professional digital portfolio that highlights readiness for careers in health education, community health, and wellness programming. Students will also critically explore emerging trends, policies, and ethical issues shaping the future of public health practice.
